We draw single-mode fibre and cable it under one roof in Tianchang, Anhui — 18 drawing lines, 19 cabling lines, about 15 million fibre-kilometres a year. Domestically we supply the three national carriers.

Why we go after regional operators

A tier-1 carrier has a procurement department and a standards team. A regional ISP building out a few thousand homes a year usually has neither — the same two or three people are choosing the cable, negotiating the price and standing in the trench when it goes wrong. What they need from a supplier is not the lowest price per metre. It is: which cable for this section, will it pass the fire inspection, and can you put six different items on one pallet.

Those are the questions we set this business up to answer. Same plant, same fibre, same test bench as the carrier orders — with an order size and a level of hand-holding that actually fits a regional build.

What that means in practice

• Every layer from one supplier. Feeder, distribution, aerial, drop, in-building. One quote, one shipment, one set of paperwork.
• Mixed loads. Six constructions on one order is normal for us, not an exception we grudgingly allow.
• Specified before quoted. Tell us the build and we come back with what you should be asking for — including the things you did not ask about, like CPR class.
• Published specifications. The numbers on each product page are our test values, not a marketing range.
• Samples before volume. Drum samples for incoming inspection on any construction, before a first order.
