Drawing, cabling and the test bench that decides what ships.
Fibre is drawn on 18 lines and cabled on 19. Both ends of the process sit on the same site, which is the reason a fibre batch can be traced to the drum it ended up in.
Routine tests
- Attenuation and OTDR trace on every fibre length
- Tensile and crush to IEC 60794-1-2 E1 / E3
- Temperature cycling to IEC 60794-1-2 F1
- Water penetration, 24 h / 1 m head
- Drum-by-drum length verification before packing
Third-party witness testing can be arranged on request, and we will send the raw test report rather than a summary certificate.
